Description

The book by historian Dr. Tomáš Černák maps the life and career of Koloman Gögh, one of the best defenders in the history of Slovan and Czechoslovak football. He played for Slovan Bratislava for ten years, winning two league titles (1974, 1975) and two cups (1974, 1982). He won gold at the 1976 European Championships and bronze in 1980. He played 225 matches in the sky-blue jersey and made 55 appearances for the national team. Following the 1976 European Championships, the French newspaper L’Équipe named him one of the best full-backs in the world.
